We LOVE our hanging plants!
There are so many reasons you might want to keep your plants off the ground – to keep them away from your pets, away from the kids, to save space in an apartment or balcony or just because it looks great!
Adding some verticality to your greenery is a great way to show off your favorite plants especially if it is a dangling plant type.
We did some research and found fifty different ideas for hanging your plants that we thought were fantastic! We included a range of options from less expensive ideas and DIY projects up to complete dream home ideas.
1. Macrame Hangers
The classic macrame hanger is back in fashion! Popular in the 70s, these hangers come in a huge range of styles with many inexpensive and beautiful handmade pieces available.
2. Make a Kokedama
This is an easy DIY project that is sure to impress. Kokedamas are Japanese hanging gardens bound with string and they have a lovely rustic, handmade feel.
3. Air Plant Hanger
These stylish brass air plant hangers are an inexpensive way to add that contemporary touch of class to any space.
4. Display Your Dangling Plants in Frames
Who says only paintings or photos can hang in frames? This unique way to display your plants will add a dash of style to any wall.
